MI remote is a brand new accessible environmental control application for children: devised by and created for Falkirk Council Children with Disabilities team. This revolutionary environmental control app is designed especially for younger users with disabilities.

MI remote pairs with the iTach Flex device to capture and reproduce infrared signals from your remote control. A simple, resizable grid layout makes it easy for anyone to control devices around their home. Easily navigated, you can put actions into folders, or put the actions straight onto your home page so they’re always accessible!

Easily personalised with a wide range of possible colour themes for the background, you can record your own auditory support for buttons and build cells and folders with your own images so that your child recognises them instantly.

Also included in the app is a fantastic story mode feature! Make interactive stories with the story maker: add story pages with images, text, sounds and an action button which allows you to control a remote control toy from your iPad. Make as many stories with as many pages as you want to!
